Company History
In 1986, Starke & Tandy Scott and Barney Totten relocated from Houston, TX to Southern California to fulfill their shared vision of building a successful business and becoming #1 in the Hydraulic Service & Sales industry by providing the highest quality and best value to each customer.
Prior to opening WHI, Starke had worked for more than two decades in the Hydraulic Service & Sales industry. He learned every aspect of the business, from bottom to top, after earning his Engineering degree from Georgia Tech.
At a very young age, Starke understood that if you are going to succeed in a business where you need to sell products and/or services on a consistent basis, you need to know and understand your customer and why they will continue to come to you for what they need. In addition, to offering your customers quality products and competitive prices, you must provide reliability, consistency, and excellent customer service.
Since opening WHI for business in 1986, Starke has maintained that same understanding and integrity as the foundation for achieving WHIs vision of becoming #1 in the Hydraulic Service & Sales industry. During the last 23 years, WHI has grown to become one of the largest and most reputable Hydraulic Service companies in the country.
WHI offers a well-established team of experienced, hand-picked professionals who collectively possess more than 200 years experience in hydraulic repair, hydraulic service, and customer service.
